GREAT PHYSICIAN! - Self-verified patient of Dr. Michael P Widick - Posted on December 23rd, 2014 I was diagnosed with chronic sinusitis over 4 yrs ago and was treated by an ENT Dr that was poor at best and within a few weeks I was essentially no better off. Based on this I was reluctant to go to another ENT until l eventually lost my sense of smell. I did some research and found Dr Widick and I am so glad I did. He gave me realistic expectations and has an awesome bedside manner. His office staff is second to none. I had to have a couple of surgeries (which weren't bad at all) and he persisted with identifying the root causes of the infections that existed. He worked with me day in and day out. Today I am so much better off having him on my case. He told my wife and I after my first surgery that my sinuses were as bad as they could get. Today, I am free of the problems that plagued me and I have my sense of smell back as well. I wholeheartedly endorse Dr Widick and tell all my friends the ENT you need to see is him.

Dr Widick not only set my nose back (can you believe after 4 weeks? He said he normally like days to at most a week but said he was "willing" if I was so I got to set a record for his longest time lapsed). Outstanding outcome - he even noticed a spur which he helped me get authorization for and repaired at a day surgery clinic on Merritt Island. I'm as "good as new!" Thank you Dr Widick!

LIFE SAVER - Self-verified patient of Dr. Michael P Widick - Posted on August 15th, 2018 I took my elderly mother to see Dr Widick when she was visiting me from S.C. several months after thyroid surgery. Her vocal cords were paralyzed from the procedure and she was suffering from choking and coughing spells that were quite scary as well as a major voice change. Her surgeon in S.C. told her to just wait to see if it gets better. Dr. Widick was very compassionate and suggested having her vocal cord injected with a filled to move it in a more comfortable position. He was able to schedule her for the following week for a 30 minute procedure that has completely ended my mom's suffering. No more choking or coughing spells and her voice has returned to normal. We are so thankful for Dr. Widick and my mom will continue to see Dr. Widick should the need arise.
